Let’s start Healing with Intensives

Brainspotting Intenesive Benefits

  • Saves you time & money! Traditional therapy can takes months or years to achieve the same goals. In the end, there’s higher cost and a longer time to get to a better place.

  • Alternative Format: Great for busy people! Maybe you don’t have time for a weekly commitment whether that’s because you are a busy parent, entrepreneur, or have other commitments.

  • Emotional and Physical Healing: Brainspotting is a powerful technique that supports neurophysiological regulation through emotional healing, expansion toward a more positive self regard, awareness of triggers of behaviors, and blocks toward personal growth.

  • Focused Treatment Goals: I will review your goals for treatment and develop a treatment plan that is measured and monitored throughout the intensive to support the needs of the individual.

What are Brainspotting Intensives?

  • Intensive sessions target specific goals with plans made just for you. Instead of worrying about what might happen between sessions, the focus is on deeply understanding and solving the main problem you're facing, in a contained and focused way.

  • Significantly reduce trauma symptoms in a short amount of time.

  • Fast access: Get access to weekend appointments set only for you.

  • Intensives allow you to deeply work and process without feeling rushed from the usual 45, 50 min sessions most therapists offer.

  • 1-2 days of therapeutic healing utilizing Brainspotting to deeply process the deeper part of the Brain where trauma is stored.

FAQS

What others have wondered about Brainspotting Intensives

  • Brainspotting is an effective intervention for trauma. It is evolved from EMDR. Brainspotting utilizes the client’s visual field to help access unprocessed in the deep brain.

  • I am a private pay practice so I am out of network. If you have an out-of-network reimbursement policy, I can send you a superbill (receipt with diagnoses) to submit to your claim. However, it is not guaranteed your Insurance will reimburse you. In most cases, Insurance will only reimburse the first hour. Some I have heard will reimburse two hours. Check with your insurance your OON benefit plan. If your Insurance reimburses it still might be worth it to get even that first hour claimed.

  • You may notice the hourly rate for intensives is at a premium compared to the weekly weekday sessions. Working with intensives takes more time and work on my end. I am also setting time on my days off to focus on one client. Lastly, I also have completed many hours of specialty training to be able to do Brainspotting sessions. I do understand these intensives are an investment that’s why I want to make sure my clients get quality care for the time.

However, if you’re living out of state I am allowed to conduct the intensives only if you are physically within California. Intensive are a nice option for those Folks who are out of state who want a retreat style type of therapy.
